Ladies, What Size Jeans Do You Wear?

This past weekend I bought my first pair of size 12 jeans since I was in college. I'm pretty close to goal now (6 pounds to go), so I doubt I'll be getting down to a size 10. But then I see people who are still over 200 pounds fitting into size 10s. So I was thinking about how different body shapes and heights really affect clothing sizes. I've been in a size 10 dress since I was over 180, but even at 170 I'm only just NOW fitting into size 12 jeans. I carry so much of my weight in my hips and thighs! So for the sake of curiosity, please post your stats and what size pants you are wearing now. If you have photos, that's even better! My most recent gallery pics are unfortunately pretty outdated. I think I was 185 and wearing size 16 jeans in those pics.

Weight: 170.2

Height: 5'6"

Jeans: Size 12

I, too, no longer have a big fat ass or big thighs. And you can also see daylight between my legs. My bottom half never looked like this before. :)

@ I'm pretty jealous you can see daylight between your thighs! I will never get that, since I carry so much of my weight in my thighs/legs. I was, however, super excited recently that I can get my hands all the way around my thigh just above my knee now! Just barely touching the tips of my middle fingers and thumbs, but I can do it!

Do you truly plan on a tummy tuck in the future? I had one 4 years ago and it was rough, but well worth it! I love love love my flat stomach!

Weight: 130 pounds

Height: 5' 7"

Pants size: 6, 7, 8 (so many different brands vary in their sizing that I tend to fit all three right now)

I'm quite curvy as well. I could not possibly fit into a size 2 or 4 at this point because of my hips.

I am trying to put a few pounds back on because I'm quite tired of buying new clothes and can't afford to replace all my pants. Plus, my face has started to look a little skeletal. This was not the healthy look I was going for.

Congrats to you!

Weight: 202 pounds

Height: 5'9.5"

Pants size: 10

My goal is to be able to buy a size 8 and have it fit perfectly.

Most definitely! I knew going in I would need a tummy tuck but I really want a breast lift too. This morning I was 172.2 so I'm only 12 pounds from my goal weight. It's so weird. I still feel really big and I think a bit part of it is my loose skin. I won't be able to get one for at least a year or two.

I had a breast lift with augmentation at the same time as my tummy tuck and it is fantastic! Plastics are no joke. The recovery time and pain is MUCH more significant than WLS, but the results are so worth it in the long run.

121 lbs. 5'6. Size 2.

I was my highest at 263 pounds, just managing to be comfortable in an 18, would have soon had to buy a 20 and I absolutely REFUSED. I only just bought new pants (I avoided it forever because I don't want to waste money on clothes that won't fit soon lol) and the 16 is kind of loose.

Jean Size - "Regular" 14

What's weird - I've weighed 230 during previous diet attempts and wasn't in a size 14. Either vanity sizing is getting worse or maybe I have more muscle this time around. I have no idea....

Weight - 219

Height - 5'8"

Jean size 14 w

LOL! This is so funny! Only we would understand about a goal of seeing light between your legs when you're standing! It amazes me to see that now. Before I would think the friction was going to start a fire, especially in jeans!! I started in a size 26 at 321 pounds! :)

Ht: 5'9"

Wt: 176

Jeans: Size 6-8 depending on brand and cut

Tops: M

I've always wondered about this myself! My stats:

5'8

248 lbs

18/20 bottoms

20/22 tops with sleeves

I know when I was around 210 lbs (the lowest I weighed in my adult life), I was a 14. I'm hoping that will still be the case!
