Has anyone not told anyone about having surgery?
The only person that knows is my husband, it's no ones business and that's the way I plan on keeping it. My weight loss is very very slow so it does not stand out to anyone.

What do you eat on a normal day? Im worried :s
Wow no wonder I am not loosing weight that fast I am nearly two months out and there is no way I could eat as much as what you guys are saying you eat. I eat 3 tablespoons and I am full, I normally drink Protein or drinks to get my calories to the 700 to 800 mark Makes me concerned, reading this.

I am hearing you, my weight loss is very slow and steady. Considering I am eating probably a quarter of what I use to eat. Arghhh

So it sounds like most of us have a stall! How does everyone here get all their Protein in? There is no way I can do it. I can only eat about 2 to 3 tablespoons of food and then I am full.

Food melt down
It's so good to read this, I am one month post op. My Dr has let me start some of the basic foods still nothing to flash. I will use this as an example that really got me down. We went to the beach with the family ordered fish and chips. I was so stoked to be out like a normal person and eating. So I have my price of grilled fish with me, I can only eat 2 tablespoons and I am full and feel like I just ate a whale. It's soooooooo hard to not feel happy because I would normally eat that whole fish plus whatever else. It's such a hard concept to except that is enough, I don't ever over eat as it makes me feel so full from just that but it's the mental thing of not being able to eat everything I can to be mentally satisfied. Never regret this surgery it has made me realise just how much I used food to be happy.. And so my journey begins about me!

Hi Jen, I had the same operation, i know how you feel I had the same operation. Best thing I can suggest is keep up the pain medication. I am 11 days out now and feel a million times better. Tried a hero day the other day where I had no pain relief made my pain so much worse. Walking is good gets the blood flowing and heat packs. Thinking of you.
