    Stall

So today I reached 18 weeks and finally a loss after nearly 6 weeks of floating around the same weight. I lost 500grams.. Fist punching!!! Was starting to let it really get to me. No weight loss for sooo long
  8. I know this is posted on here a million times. I am 17 weeks out tomorrow and starting to stress. I have lost 1kg in 5 weeks. I have lost 44 lbs and have about 44lbs to go. Is this normal ? 5 weeks is so long
  9. How's everyone going??? I have been on a stall for 5 weeks!! So over it
  10. I hope everyone is doing well! Sorry I have been a bit slack I have lost 18 kgs and I am at my 12 week mark so I am doing ok. I am half way there nearly! Feeling good, should be eating a lot more but just can't stomach more than 3 mouthfuls. So I am hoping that improves.. Hope everyone is well
  11. The only person that knows is my husband, it's no ones business and that's the way I plan on keeping it. My weight loss is very very slow so it does not stand out to anyone.
  12. Wow no wonder I am not loosing weight that fast I am nearly two months out and there is no way I could eat as much as what you guys are saying you eat. I eat 3 tablespoons and I am full, I normally drink Protein or drinks to get my calories to the 700 to 800 mark Makes me concerned, reading this.
  13. I am hearing you, my weight loss is very slow and steady. Considering I am eating probably a quarter of what I use to eat. Arghhh
  14. Am hoping to be booked in mid September ! Nervous and excited all in one.
  15. So it sounds like most of us have a stall! How does everyone here get all their Protein in? There is no way I can do it. I can only eat about 2 to 3 tablespoons of food and then I am full.
  16. Welcome ladies, it's great hearing from you all and to also hear we are all experiencing very similar things. Look forward to hearing about your journeys

    Food melt down

It's so good to read this, I am one month post op. My Dr has let me start some of the basic foods still nothing to flash. I will use this as an example that really got me down. We went to the beach with the family ordered fish and chips. I was so stoked to be out like a normal person and eating. So I have my price of grilled fish with me, I can only eat 2 tablespoons and I am full and feel like I just ate a whale. It's soooooooo hard to not feel happy because I would normally eat that whole fish plus whatever else. It's such a hard concept to except that is enough, I don't ever over eat as it makes me feel so full from just that but it's the mental thing of not being able to eat everything I can to be mentally satisfied. Never regret this surgery it has made me realise just how much I used food to be happy.. And so my journey begins about me!
  18. Omg so glad to read these posts Still having a stall and first week back at work for 7 days straight and I am sooooo tired. Hope everyone is going well! Apart from the stall I am actually starting to feel better about myself as a person.
  19. Yahoo! I feel so much better I am nearly 3 weeks post op and having a stall and i too did not realise that it would happen this quickly. Anyway feel better that this is the norm,
  20. Well I am experiencing the week 2/3 stall! No weight gained or lost. I know it's part of the process but still disheartening. Anyone else experiencing this?

  22. Yes I am at the same stage also and I am slowly learning to eat slower.
  23. Glad I am not the only one, I have been so tired this week and yes also getting upset very easy over little things. But I would not change it.
  24. I too also just started purée today, I am not worrying about calories I think I would be under 500 at this stage most days. Just trying to do protein first then veggies.
