I don't know about you but I tend to feel a bit list in being able to contact anyone and hopefully we can find a Buddy/s to bounce things off. This site is awesome and love reading it. My stats Female 37 years Starting weight :217 pounds or 98.5kg Surgery is 18th September 2014.. Good luck Kellie!
  12. Hi Sarah, Yes it makes me nervous also, I am only on a optifast diet breakfast and lunch with a light dinner.. My operation is September 18th.. I am sure we are all in trusted hands just all Drs do things different.. Good luck.. Kellie
  13. I have Optifast for 3 and a bit weeks and I am half way surgery is September 18. I have lost 4kgs in 10days. I too have had one cheat meal and felt so bad about it. I called the surgeon as I was worried what it would do to me and he reassured me that as long as it's not again I will be fine.. Good luck everyone..
  14. I am 2 weeks today and it's all I think about 24/7, scared of failing, scared of not doing it correctly.. Excited, nervous, scared a roller coaster of emotions.. I can't wait for my journey to start and can't wait to hear about everyone else's!!!
  15. Our operation is this month!!! Can't wait to hear about everyone's stories the good bad and the ugly.. 18th is my day..
  16. That's awesome well done!! I have the same dream.. Have always kept two pieces of clothes I always wanted to wear again... Congrats..
  17. Can't believe how quickly this has all come around. Had my dietician appointment today, got rather emotional and embarrassed with her. Was very confronting putting all your measurements down and your weight and explain why you are so fat.. ( telling someone what you eat) But I walked away feeling happy and relieved. The physiologist was awesome as well!! Found my biggest down fall is using food as a reward or use food as a tool for the spending family time together. So no more eating out in cafés for breakfasts or restaurants for dinners etc.. ( only every now and again) Quality time will be movies, skating something just does not have to revolve around food.. So I went in feeling very anxious today about these appointments and came out feeling good and not like I was being judged.. Anyway I just had to share, my little experiences for my long journey. I start my pre op diet tomorrow and 3 weeks tomorrow until my sleeve and I can't wait!! This is starting to get REAL...
  18. You look amazing! Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work
  19. Well done! You look great... Keep up the great work
  20. Well done! That's an amazing way to show off your new and well deserved body.
  21. I am a September Sleever!!! Booked in for the 18th of September and this is starting to get real. I start my pre op diet on the 28th August. And I don't know about all of you but this is something I think of nearly all day... Good luck everyone and look forward to the stories..
  22. I ladies, I am actually more nervous about giving myself this injection.. Are there any tips or tricks to giving this? I know it's a stupid question but the whole jabbing myself just freaks me.. I watched a video where the person grabs a piece of fat on their stomach and then inject it into themselves. I worry that I will do it wrong, not put the Clexane incorrectly etc. Thanks in advance
  23. I so get you All these things run through my head 24/7, I am worried about it consuming me.. Like you I worry if I am going to fail. You are certainly on the right path to getting your goal, I take my hat off to you. I start my pre op diet next Wednesday and my operation is September 18th. As for Protein I have no idea, I search this site and read people comments all the time. Good luck
  24. You are all such an inspiration !! All theses posts just makes more passionate about it and sooooo excited about my turn.. Keep up the good work ladies and gents
  25. Hi everyone, just trying to sort out accommodation for my husband whilst I am in hospital. My Surgeon said I would be in hospital one to five days after the operation. I just wanted to see what most people did and also, how long after your operation can you drive? Thanks in advance
