I feel like death warmed over...lol...it impossible for me to get in the amount of liquids at this moment I am trying my hardest

Thats a huge worry for me I read so many post and getting the water down the first few days is hard for a lot of people. Glad to hear from you. I will be on the other side of this journey with you in a few weeks. Congrats to a speedy recovery ????

I finally have less than 24 hrs. I think I am a bit concerned about almost everything. ???? I have 2 broken bones in my foot - that ought to make things interesting. At least I am down to an air cast, easier than that darn hard cast. I am so ready - hope everyone is feeling better today!

Getting the Water in is hard but I was told it gets easier after day 3 or 4. Good luck to everyone going tomorrow.

I can say that getting the water in gets easier and easier. My surgery was 12/4 and I am able to drink water exactly like I did before surgery and have been for over a week. Hang in there - it will get better before you know it.

After being caught in a Catch 22 between my surgeon and my PCP I finally today got my surgery date. Jan 26 2 days after my 60th birthday. I was beginning to think I would never get the surgery.

Hope everyone who had surgery today is doing good.

Just got insurance approval today. Surgery scheduled for January 4. I can't decide if I am thrilled or terrified.

congrats. Right around the corner. I'm Jan 20th.

I dont know if I'm thrilled or terrified either. Reading people having a difficult time getting fluids down post op to losing and feeling great to then reading sleevers gaining a year or 2 out. I"m ready to have this tool though. I'm tired of being tired.

Surprisingly pretty good. I just want food sooo bad. Soo i got some tomatoe bisque and butter nut squash on some days. Premier protein is my friend. Goes down the best. Learning to mix my water and i can handle it better. Havent got all my protein in yet...per day like 40 grams...i need 60...but by 8pm...im so full. I put some jeans that were super tight on this morn bc i had to go in office and thry just slid on. I super smiled. So excited in this process.

You are going to do just fine. I am sure that I will feel the same way though on January 18!

When you say patience you aren't loosing much weight?

I've lost 30 so far. I'm happy with that, but I'm ready to get out and take on the world????i still have weight restrictions and I also had a cyst removed at the same time. The cyst removal is what getting me down????

Oh sorry to hear about the cyst. 30lbs in less than a month is fantastic! Are you starting to feel better?

I feel really well, most days. There have been a few days I'm like, I just don't feel good and so I rested. I will have to go back after the first of the year to have the cyst wall removed, but it will be outpatient surgery and I'll be home that afternoon. ????
