  2. You are going to be just fine! Expect some nausea and some pain. They should keep you pretty well medicated in the hospital. Stay hydrated! Tiny sips! They will have you up and walking that night, at they did with me. I woke up and was pretty nauseated. That was the worst part for me, but after I got in the room, my stomach settled down. Good luck on your new journey!

  4. Oh no! It had been there, maybe a year, but it was very small. I guess in October, it started to grow, but I still ignored it. It became so large in the last weeks before surgery, I could not sleep on my sides. I was afraid to say anything for fear of delaying my surgery. As big as it was on the outside, it was bigger and deeper below, so that's why he couldn't remove the cyst wall. If I don't have the wall removed, the cyst will grow back. And honestly, that is what hurt so much. All the other incisions on my stomach have not bothered me..I'm a T1 diabetic, so its healing a little slower than I like...lol...but its getting there and that's all that matters

  6. I feel really well, most days. There have been a few days I'm like, I just don't feel good and so I rested. I will have to go back after the first of the year to have the cyst wall removed, but it will be outpatient surgery and I'll be home that afternoon. ????
  7. I've lost 30 so far. I'm happy with that, but I'm ready to get out and take on the world????i still have weight restrictions and I also had a cyst removed at the same time. The cyst removal is what getting me down????

  9. I had my sleeve on December 2...so far so good. My biggest problem is patience. I'm seeing results, but it will happen in time

  13. Take one day at a time. I was sleeved on December 2. I have had a few, I feel crappy and why did I do this days, but you can do this! Rome wasn't built in a day...take a day at a time. Sometimes I feel like its an hour by hour ordeal, but I write down how I'm feeling and try to push thru it. What kind of protein shakes are you using? I've been using Premier strawberries and creme, I add about 6 ice cubes and blend. Its awesome! I've also used PB2 powder and added to chocolate protein powder, ice cubes and blend. Just keep trying, don't give up. You can do this!
  14. I found drinking room temp water easier....gross I know, but if its cold, it causes me pain. I used to add sugar free flavorings, especially the fruit punch, but it tastes bitter to me now...not a big fan of water, but I'm trying❤
  15. T1 diabetic since I was 12...it will be 1month tomorrow since I've had surgery. My insulin use is down dramatically! I'm on an insulin pump. If I get anything out of having this surgery, it will be better control of my diabetes. Looking back at the posts I'm kinda late, but I hope you all are doing well! Best of luck and health!
