Congrats! My surgery is Nov 17th, I do not have good Thanksgivings either! So I don't mind having surgery right before.

I'm 90% certain that my surgery date will be Nov. 25th! I think it's a fitting date seeing as it's the day before Thanksgiving. Partly because it's the day before millions of people will be gorging themselves on traditional dishes and partly because I have a history of having terrible Thanksgivings.

Dawn- We have the same date! I am so excited, and nervous. My pre-op diet starts on the 23rd

I've been away from this topic for a while--I finally got my approval and I am scheduled for November 30. I start my liquid diet on November 16. Does anyone else have this date?

Also, I was in a Facebook group that stemmed from this post, but I was removed. Does anyone know if that group was disbanded? It was really strange--it just disappeared. I love supporting others going through similar experiences, so here I am again.

Hello.... Sleeved 11/18/15. 30 lbs gone, but I feel like it's slow.

I was sleeved 10/5, I'm down just 40 lbs....definately on the slow side. Its better than nothing but hard to watch people on here that had surgery after me losing alot more. I eat less than 1000 calories a day and feel hungry alot. My nutritionist suggested I eat less to lose more weight but that doesn't seem realistic.

RDub, don't feel bad. I was sleeved 10/27 and I've only lost 20lbs. It's frustrating. Not sure what else I can do but go back to all fluids again. *sigh* I think this is the reason I don't come onto BP anymore. I guess this surgery isn't always successful for everyone. I'm proof.
