ARE THERE ANY OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2015 SLEEVERS OUT THERE?

Recommended Posts

I'm 90% certain that my surgery date will be Nov. 25th! I think it's a fitting date seeing as it's the day before Thanksgiving. Partly because it's the day before millions of people will be gorging themselves on traditional dishes and partly because I have a history of having terrible Thanksgivings.

I'll be getting sleeved on October 5th! I've been through all appointments. All I have left is a preop class at the hospital and preadmissuon labs and blood work the week before.

My doctor doesn't require liquid diet preop for BMI under 50 but I'm going to follow a modified one anyway, I think.

I'd love a buddy or several with similar dates! I'm not on Facebook, so I'm a little bummed I can't join that group.

I've finished all my pre op testing, psych evaluation, and on oct 1 will make my 3rd month and last food journal so my dr will schedule my surgery on the first and than submit to my insurance. Someone asked earlier about why oct is backed up. I see dr. Mcdevitt at coastal Carolina bariatrics in summerville, sc ((he's amazing!!)) and he only does surgeries on Tuesdays. ????

Hi there. I just received my surgery date and it is Monday Oct 19-2015. I am very nervous but excited. I am having the gastric sleeve. I just ordered the Vitamins from Bariatric Advantage. My doctor is Dr. Aaron Baggs. this will be at the Richmond California Kaiser. I need to find a good tasting Protein shake. I just ordered some one ounce tupperware containers to help me as well. And to help measure out my Water.

Looking forward to a healthier me.

Ramona

Hi, I just signed up about five minutes ago and haven't had a chance to set up my profile. I am set to have surgery late October mid November and happen to be from the Rio Grande Valley, about fifteen minutes from Mexico lol would love to have a positive partner on this journey. Any questions just ask. Hope to hear from you.

Hello there!

I'm hoping to have my sleeve op in November here in the UK, is it ok for me to join? I've lost 4lbs & got another 10lbs to go before i can book my date. The only people that know that I'm having a sleeve is my Mum & my partner, it'd be nice to have people to chat to on the run up. I'm excited & nervous all rolled into one!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
