I am three years out and have struggles through this weight lost journey. I Had many illness after surgery which set me back. I also was a slow loser. But since I went to Florida for two weeks I got a new lease on life I have lost a good amount of weight and I am still losing it. I am so glad that things are fall into place. I started this journey with a lot of hope and dreams and it feels good to finally see then come to life.

I would like to tell every one please don't feel regret just get back on that horse and try again this is your life change and you will never get there if you don't work at it.

Good Luck All

I am almost 4 years out and although I have to work at staying at goal I have been at goal since 1 year out. I just want to say that as I was walking home from the gym the other day and marveling at my good life, I never in my wildest dreams thought at age 61 I would be happier than I have ever been. And it would not have happened without this surgery. I am grateful every day.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
