Hello Everyone!

My name is Megan. I had my surgery June 11, 2014. I lost my weight slow and had many stalls. About 5 months post-op is when my weight just stayed the same. It wouldn't budge. I was doing everything that I could and still it wouldn't go down. It is now nearing my 1 year anniversary and I'm still at 250. Don't get me wrong, I am glad that I'm not gaining any of the weight back, however, I'm still upset that I have stopped losing weight and that I am not at my "happy" (goal) weight...

Has anyone else had this problem? Having a stall lasting this long?

Are you weighing or measuring your portions and tracking your food? How many calories, carbs, and grams of Protein are you getting each day? Are you meeting your goals for fluids? Do you find yourself snacking or grazing? Are you getting enough sleep?

I'm in a stall... 2 months and counting. But I admit, my life is in compete and utter upheaval right now. I do not graze but I snack, and I don't get enough sleep, my insomnia is coming back, I've been fighting depression due to a devastating financial loss, and my family has been through so much this year...

I know that my stall is due heavily to home issues, and so are my diet choices...I haven't emotionally eaten in YEARS and I caught myself doing it last week.

Are you having any significant life problems that could be affecting you?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
