I think I am a bariatric pal forum stalker

Recommended Posts

I am ready to submit to insurance after my 6 months of supervised weight loss completed this month. My bariatric surgery advocate should be submitting in the next week. I have to confess that I am a forum stalker. Trying to post more. I am amazed by all the support here and just want to get a surgery date after all this time/work!!

I lurked for seven years in fits and starts. Started contributing when I had my sleeve in January. I do love this site, has been very helpful for me.

I am definitely here often! I learn something new all the time, and it is great for motivation!

Good luck with getting your date! The waiting is difficult for sure.

Hehe i think to be honest, that all of us were and still are forum stalkers!! :) and like others have said, keep on stalking! There's so much useful information here and should you have any questions, just ask away, someone will respond and try to help where they can :). This stage you are at is, i would say, the most difficult, it does get better :).

Wish you all the best with your weight loss journey xox

I was a stalker, then fell out of the program for about a month, and rejoined. I am scheduled for surgery Wednesday and I am excited and scared. It is a life changing decision (for the best) but scary still. I have never had surgery and I won't this to be my only time. I did have wisdom teeth removed and a cyst of my index finger removed where I was knocked out but this is invasive, and it makes me think about it.

Good luck~

I think I am a forum stalker too. Do we need to join another support forum for stalkers? ????I think I need to start stalking in the bypass surgery forum because the doc thinks I may be a better candidate for it????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
