It depends on my day. I eat lighter on days I don't go to the gym. I avg between 700 - 900, but occasionally I am high or lower. For example, this was a crazy week with doctor's appointments and such. I had 2 days where I was just under 700 and today I was at 926. I think most days I hit around 850. The difference is I was running around like cray today and I started my day with a really vigorous aquafit class. I hit 6mth on the 18th.

I was getting in 500-600 calories everyday for the first 6 months. Right around my 6 month mark, I increased my calories to 850. I lost 5 pounds in the first four days of the increase. It was incredible. I am now doing 2-3 days a week at 850 and 500-600 the rest of the week. It seems so prevent stalling, for me at least.

Count me as someone else who was shocked when I dropped weight after increasing calories. My surgeon also told me that at under 700 calories a day you're as likely to lose muscle as you are fat an that's definitely not good for the long haul so he's advised me to stay above 700 calories on a regular basis.

I usually end up around 800-900 daily and I am 9 months out.

At 6 and 7 months out I was eating 1,000 - 1,200 calories a day.

I'm 8 months and 4 days post-op, and I just hit my goal today ... 150 pounds!

I'm around 700 - 850 calories a day, but lately I've occasionally gone up as much as 900. I'm 7 mths out. I've lost 80ls, but I still have a long way to go so I try to stay in the 800 range. I'm working out 5 - 6 days a week so that may have to do with the increased appetite, but I'm keeping my eye on it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
