Day after ❤️❤️❤️

  • Popular Post

Yesterday March 20th

was day of surgery ...went to the hospital at 5:30 ..surgery was at 8 ..took about 1 1/2 but I was really nauseated afterwards so they kept me until about 2:30 ...all in all it was great !

The gas though was no joke! I had it the worst in my chest ..nothing in the shoulders ..I walked a couple of times in the hospital and then at home as well so it helped ..I also took the GasX strips which were really helpful :)

I'm taking pain medicine because I'm still sore ..so I've been sleeping a lot (they make me super drowsy ) I have only three incisions :) ..I was most worried about my liver but there was no fat on it thankfully ( nice and purple! ) lol

I'm having some mucus this morning and am drinking a lot of Water in small doses so I'm sure it'll go away eventually :)

Anyway, just wanted to give a little update ..now that I'm finally on "the other side " ...I will be doing updates every couple of days or so for all of you newbies ????

Congratulations! So happy for you. New chapter has begun!

Welcome to your new life!! Walk walk walk and karate chops from a friend on your neck and shoulders help the gas pain a lot!

Congrats! My surgery was the 18th and other than the gas pain, things are going great. No need for pain meds. I'm having a little trouble sleeping, but u think it's because of the gas. I can't wait for my first post op appointment next week too!
