I had my banding on 3-18 and all is going great! The only major complaint I have is the horrific gas pain in my shoulders. Gas x and the heating pad have become my best friend. I am tolerating the clears and am looking forward to my first post op appointment to be advanced to the next stage. How is everyone else doing so far?

I was banded on 3-18 and so far so good, except for the gas pain in my shoulders. I was surprised at how little belly pain I have experienced. In the hospital the nurses kept asking if I needed pain meds, but I didn't. Gas x and the heating pad are getting me through the shoulder pain. Looking forward to my first post op appointment next week so I can be advanced to the next stage.

Congrats! My surgery was the 18th and other than the gas pain, things are going great. No need for pain meds. I'm having a little trouble sleeping, but u think it's because of the gas. I can't wait for my first post op appointment next week too!

Hi everyone, I have set my date for 3-18-15. Would like to meet others scheduled for this March.

Today begins day 4 pre-op! Surgery is in 1 1/2 weeks!!! So excited for this new chapter in my life.

That's great to hear! I start my prep on March 4th. I've been trying to lose a little before that starts. Your weight loss is awesome so far. Hopefully you will start to feel better real soon.
