Interested to see the awesome group that will be going through this journey with me at the same time. Please reply so that I can follow your journey as well. My last weigh in is on April 15 and surgery date will either be May 11 or May 18.

What really burned me was I had already turned in my FMLA paperwork to HR and gotten the time off I wanted approved at work. Now I have to do that again while saying I can't really be certain of the dates, etc. Aetna seems to think we are just policy payers and not real people. Thanks for letting me rant. I almost feel better now.

@Bubbletoes that sucks! Good for you for sticking with it and dealing with their bs! It'll happen in May!!

Metabolic Surgery Center in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Nick Nicholson in Dallas is doing my surgery on May 26th. I am excited and nervous. Is there anyone that is also going to Dr. Nicholson.

OMG.....The S#** just got real.....many of us start our journey in the net few days. I have butterflies in my stomach just writing this I feel emotional. Congrats to everyone and god bless us! I'm so nervous and excited...WOOOOHOOOOOO!

Checklist complete... looking at late may (which would be an awesome birthday present) or early June.

Just got my time may sleevers, I arrive at 8:45am tomorrow and will be sleeved at 10:45am!!!

Wow, lots of you getting sleeved in May. Not sure if I count, but, I'm getting lapband to sleeve revision May 4. Hopefully all goes well. Surgeon tells me that once he's in he'll make the determination if he will be able to do both band removal and sleeve in one surgery, otherwise, I have to schedule sleeve for a later time. He's pretty confident that he will be able to do both on Monday. Wish me luck. jake
