Interested to see the awesome group that will be going through this journey with me at the same time. Please reply so that I can follow your journey as well. My last weigh in is on April 15 and surgery date will either be May 11 or May 18.

My surgery is scheduled for May 8th! I'm on day 3 of my liquid diet. I feel like these will be the longest 2 weeks of my life. LOL

I think my biggest fear is the skin. I don't want to look horrible. :-(

I share your surgery date. I worry about my skin too. And plan to workout as soon as I can again. But no matter extra skin is way better then XXXL me!

My date is May 8th. I am going on my 4th day of pre-op liquid diet. It hasn't been horrible but I am not thrilled with the smoothies that I bought from the nutritionist. But I will push through!!!! :-) So exciting and scary.

My surgery is May 4th. I am on the liquid diet now. I had to do it for 10 days. it is a challenge.

@@Rocky1 The packet my NUT has given me states the following for Pre and Post Op:

2 weeks Pre & 2 weeks Post:

• Liquid Diet: High Protein Meal Replacement Shakes (Bariatric shakes approved only)(can be mixed with milk or water). Also, Jello, broth, and sugar free pops can be taken.

2-8 weeks post:

• Soft Proteins: such as Greek yogut, cottage cheese, eggs, beans, string cheese, luncheon meats, canned tuna or chicken ....and so on.

2 months post surgery:

• Introduction of fresh cooked meats such as chicken breast, ground turkey, fresh fish, and veggies and fruit.

6 months post surgery:

• Continue protein choices, veggies, fruits and intro to starches/whole grains.

Looking like May 11th for me. Revision from a lap band to the sleeve. Today is my pre op medical clearance. Tomorrow I meet with the doctor to go over all the details. Then Thursday I meet with the dietician to go over pre op and post op eating guidelines. Holy crap! I can't believe it's only 2 weeks away!

Hello all my surgery is schedule for MAY 1st... Im supper excited and soo happy.. Cant wait to get this done already.. Have been waiting for so long...

1 week from TODAY!!! Woohoo! I'm sooo excited (in my Jessie Spano Saved by the Bell voice)...

So far I've lost 15 pounds during this 6 month journey and have already experienced hair loss. I'm concerned it will get worse after surgery. Anyone going through same thing?
