There are also articles on this site regarding cooking, and cooking for one. PIntrest also has ideas and recipes. Lastly, I have found several items at Trader Joe's that work for me.

Happy eating.

"The World According to Egg Face" has a great blog and Pinterest site... you HAVE to check her out! I also find myself getting kind of bored and sometimes just adding something a little different to the usual is enough to change it up and feel like enough of a variety to break the boredom. For example, I've been eating either oatmeal or Greek yogurt for Breakfast with a scoop of Protein powder every ... Last week I added chopped pecans and a pinch of shredded coconut in my tropical fruit Greek yogurt and it was delish! I felt like I was eating desert for Breakfast. Ended up having it every day haha! I'm also always scouring recipes and try to make something new every weekend... here's the one I did this weekend. It was amazing.. very light and yummy... will definitely make it again and put it in my usual rotation. Have fun trying new things!

Lime Shrimp and Avocado salad

1 medium Tomato, diced

1 avocado diced

1 jalepeno, seeded and diced fine

¼ c chopped red onion

2 limes

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
