Since before Xmas I have been at a "stall" of sorts. Today makes 4.5 weeks.

Technically it isn't a stall but I have bounced around between losing and gaining. Lose is usually 5lbs. Gain is usually 3-4. Today I am down 2 lbs since last week but I've seen this before and it's getting terribly frustrating.

I know this stall will pass. I just feel like punching something. Lol

What is the longest stall anyone has experienced. How did you break it? I am thinking about doing the 5:2.

I am doing a variety of exercises and am consistent.

My clothes do fit looser so I must be doing something right. It seems like my body doesn't want the scale to move. I am 50lbs from goal. I'd like to be there by next August the latest.

Any tips, words of encouragement, stories are appreciated.

PS: just reassessed my diet with my nut. So as of right now my macros are set at 140g of good carbs, 88g of Protein, & 54g of good fats. So that's 40%, 25%, & 35% in that order.

Your carbs higher than your Protein?

I stalled for the ENTIRE month of October. Zero pounds lost. Yes, I felt hopeless. So, I did eventually continue to lose again. So there is lots of hope. Stay encouraged. I know every plan is very different, but your carbs appear to be on the higher side. Again, we all follow different plans.

Yeah. I thought it strange that my carbs are higher than Protein but she said it's the kind of carbs that are important. So I stick with veggie carbs etc. I knew a stall would happen eventually. It's just frustrating. I know it'll pass. I have always been a very slow loser but I have incorporated a lot of weight training too so I just need to be patient.

Thanks for the input! You guys are the best. ????????????????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
