Back in the hospital.

So I started running 104.5 fever last night. My husband rushed me to the ER. Turns out I have a small leak. They have me on full IV liquids and strong antibiotics. Dr is hoping that will cure it. If not it's back to surgery. I knew something wasn't right. I have felt awful all week

I hate this!

Thanks everyone! I am back in a regular room. Looks like I will be here until Friday at least. Dr is still giving my stomach rest in hopes I won't have to have another surgery. So it is just a wait and see game now.

Hope this keep progressing forward for you! Keep us updated! Good thoughts are headed your way from me!!

Feel better hun take it one day at a time

Glad to hear this!

As you well know, a leak is serious business and recovery can be slow. There are many people I have seen on this forum over the 3 plus years I have been posting that recover well and do great with the sleeve. Every one of them has been just fine at the end of the day.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and so sorry you have to go through this!

@@crissylynn82 I'm glad you are doing better sending prayers your way. I see you are in TN where/who did your surgery?

Thanks for the update! I'm so happy that you are improving! Please keep us posted as there is much we can learn from your experience and we can reach out and support you also. I sure have had you on my mind OFTEN over the last few days and have often prayed for you as well. God Bless.

I had my surgery with Dr. McDowell in Nashville. He has been a great doctor. It looks promising for me to be getting out of here on Friday. I sure hope so.

He is my doctor as well!! Praying that you get out Friday!!!
