Is she handicapped in some way? That sounds like very odd things to say, to anyone.

When I was younger, people would ask me when my was baby due. It always hurt so damn much. I would just smile and tell them I wasn't. Then I would be totally depressed the rest of the day, if not longer. It's not as blatantly rude as you've had done to you, but I definitely know how you feel!

Okay, Im sorry who is this woman? What kind of person says that? Have you reported her about this? I am dumbfounded. I started writing and kept erasing what i typed because my first reaction was to punch this lady but I know you cant do that and i wouldnt either. My goodness. i am so sorry she said that. If i were you i would threaten her with the authorities and file a restraining order to protect her cause i would have a hard time holding back. Arrrggg!

Sounds like a normal case of "Misery loving Company". Try your best not to let people's negativity still your joy! You are beautiful and no one can ever take that away from you!!!!

I waited tables for years and years. Always been big.

One day, I was waiting on a table of four women in their 70's. A very pleasant brunch.

At the end of the meal, I brought them dessert menus and asked if they'd like to take a look?

One IMMEDIATELY said to me, "No, we don't want dessert. If we ate it, we'd end up looking like YOU."

I almost told he to fuck off, but instead shook my head and walked away. Then I went into the kitchen where no one could see me, and kept myself from crying as best I could.

The moral of the story: Some people are fucking assholes.

The moral of the story: Some people are f**king assholes.

I would told her to f**k off. And no wonder her kids don't call her. But then again, my defense mechanisms have been honed to a razor sharp edge over the years.

I just assume people like that have a mental disorder and can't control what comes out of their mouth. But it would make me cry too...

For example, there's an older woman who has known me my entire life. She was always the sweetest little old lady. She had been in a nursing home for a few years so we would go visit her every month. She started getting dementia and one time I went to see her she looked at me said, "You sure have gotten big!" I knew this is something she would never have said before but that doesn't mean I didn't cry about it later.

Sounds to me like you just need to stick up for yourself. You teach people how to treat you. Next time tell them he pot shouldn't call the kettle black. They're obviously assholes.!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
