Yay! Congratulations! You will probably sore, tired, and kind of out of it for a few days but that is all normal. Just try to relax, sip your Clear liquids often, and remember to move around to help get rid of all the air bubbles. I paced my living room like a panther the first few days haha! Good luck on your journey :)

Woo hoo! So happy for you! Keep it up! I'll be having my surgery tomorrow. I think it is great to have the surgery just before the New Year. It makes me feel that 2015 will be the year of change. Good luck!

Surgery completed yesterday, check. While sitting in recovery I asked the nurse if doc did a Tummy Tuck or something she said no I don't think so. I asked because it felt like my left side was caved in and I could fell my bones, or ribs or something. Anyway, I got home late last night and looked at my stomach with my sissy pooh and I think we booth got a little scared. It's quite sunk in where I guess he pulled the stomach out. But I think it will be ok. Right now I'm ddealing with a bit of the gas and trying walk and do my breathing treatments is the focus.

My Surgery was the 30th, and I came home yesterday. I also have a caved-in spot where my Stomach came out. Looks weird. I'm still not feeling very good. Feel tired and sleepy.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
