How long did your surgery take? My mother asked the PA and she said about 3 hours. I'm guessing that's worst case scenario, cause I keep reading different amounts of time.

Mine took an hour and a half, and I had a hernia repaired at the same time.

I removed my gallbladder along with the sleeve. My surgeon told me that the op. took around 2h and i started to wake up after 3h. However, I still felt a little bit drugged. It took me around 6 hours after the op. to like officially wake up and see who was around.

45 minutes

Mine took longer because I went in for RNY but they converted me to the sleeve, due to some complications from a prior surgery and scar tissue. I think my total time was in the neighborhood of 1 1/2 hours.

Arrived at 5:00am

Got my room around 5:10

Dressed, IV in around 5:30

Had a nap

7:30 came and got me

7:45 met surgeon, anesthesiologist & the rest of the team

7:59 got nervous (had to pee)

8:15 into surgery

Remember nothing after that , but I know it was really still early when I got out. Maybe 45 minutes.

Mines was 90 minutes had hiatal hernia repair also

My surgery took 3.5 hours. Had a syst and some scar tissue from a c-section. I feel after all the dr. Appointments and surgery I got a clean bill of health

Mine took less than an around. My Dr put me on a strict pre op liquid diet

I went into the or at 830 and woke up at 1115. Didn't remember a thing !

Mine took 6 hours with a band revision - surgeon said mine was a tough one, lots of scar tissue etc

hubby told me it was about one hour (don't know cuz i was asleep at the time )

@@Aranks mentioned her gall bladder was taken out too - causing more surgery time

many people also have a hernia removed

if you are having anything like above removed also, it will take longer

Mine took just a hair over an hour.

From the start of anesthesia to waking up, it was 3 hours and 23 minutes for me.
