  2. I was sleeved September 6, 2016 I'm going on 9 weeks out and am down 40 lbs since surgery. For any of you that don't know about www.insurenutrition.com this company contacts your insurance co to see if you qualify to have your Premier Protein shakes, scar and stretch mark cream covered. Don't know if this helps or if you already know but www.insurenutrition.com will contact your insurance co to see if you qualify for your premier Protein shakes, scar and stretch mark cream to be covered. My insurance covered it and that a savings of $100.00 a month just on shakes. Just make sure you don't have a cap on prescriptions. Hope this helps and congrats on this wonderful journey.   10. I went out to sushi the other night (2 months out) and had 2 pieces of albacore sashimi and it worked out great. Just get the Soup, it's not like you're not going to eat much of it. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  11. While I was at Walmart picking up candy for trick or treaters I picked up some sugar free jolly ranchers and Peanut Butter cups by Russell Stover and they are really good. I still don't eat much being 2 months post op 11/1 but for something once in a while this will work...1 peanut butter cup 80 calories 6 grams of fat 0 sugar 8 carbs 2 Proteins.   14. I agree it does get better, you have to build up to your fluids and Protein..give it a chance, take a breath and let it work. When you start seeing the results you'll feel better about it.   19. I try and take magnesium citrate couple gulps a day or every other day. (make sure your Dr. Is ok w/ this) it definitely helps but I feel your pain Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  21. The only things I didn't like was my mouth was really,really dry and I felt like I did a hundred sit ups...not bad for the surgery I went through...I have no regrets...it was so worth it Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

It definitely gets better...by the time I have a few bites or drink my Protein shake I really don't want anything else...try and get your head around it and except that you took this huge step by having the surgery...The results will definitely be worth it....keep your head up and try to enjoy Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
