  1. I can eat salad but in order to do it I have to drink w it bc it's hard to digest! So kind of counter productive but once in awhile I love to have one. And believe me, I didn't get fat on salad. Maybe the dressing lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Wow you look great! You're doing so well, good for you Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. Mine was one night, I was grateful. Had really bad shoulder pain and got iv narcotics all night for it. That was my biggest complaint after surgery. It hurt for like a week. They told me that can happen but man it sucked. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. I vomit here and there. I experience nausea a lot too. I ate egg salad too fast once and had to throw up bc it got stuck- that was gross! I am a coffee drinker and I probably shouldn't be, I'm relating a lot of my nausea to an hour after coffee.....I'm thinking it's causing gastritis. I just love it though. Damn. 5. Power in numbers! Call an attorney. They'll consult for free usually Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Wow! I had just one bruise similar to the top pic, from my heparin shots. Did you hurt yourself At all? Bump into anything? You'll be even more susceptible to bruising after the heparin shots, but have your doc take a look. Sometimes what makes us worry doesn't impress them, sometimes it does, better safe than sorry Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Good for you! Life is short. Albeit, shorter when you're obese, but hey, we are doing something about it. Have to have fun sometimes, and a game plan is good too. Sounds awesome to me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. Ok guys so one update I have for you is the bengal barbecue. It's considered a snack stand and it's across from the jungle cruise. They sell skewers of meat for $4.50, which by Disney standards is a deal! For a Normal person it's a snack but for us the perfect size and a good dose of Protein. I plan to visit today I'll post pics. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. Heading there now! I plan to pick at my toddlers or husbands food. No point in wasting $$. Jolly holiday has great sandwiches I may con my husband into that so I can eat the meat filling. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. I don't do that well w ground meat but it's funny how sometimes things are ok and sometimes they just aren't. It varies for me based on the day sometimes. Hope you feel better soon. I was sleeved on 11/7 and my surgeon had me on liquids for 4 weeks! Awful. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. Omg Russ!!! Almost seventy pounds in 4 weeks! Rock star!!! We got sleeved the same day I'll be 4 weeks fri. I want to thank you for this post. I'm struggling with energy levels. Im nauseous with my Vitamins so I'm sure I'm lacking. I get my Water and Protein in. I'm going to bite the bullet and get more exercise in. Seems crazy bc I have no energy, but I realize it's a catch-22. I have a young son so I'm going to increase walking with him. Maybe join yoga as well it's something I like. I started at 268.8 and I'm 242 even today- down 26.8 lbs. I thought maybe I was tired bc of the rapid weight loss (I'm sure that's part of it, I read that losing weight fast causes hormone dumping). Again, I appreciate your post I like to see other people that are around as far out as I am. I'm happy for you, and I'm going to take your lead. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. Hahah the gwyneth Paltrow recommendation! Hahah I love this thread. I live in LA, so I don't need to explain the value of looks, or how everyone is on some type of eating regimen lol Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. It's funny that you say that about the skinny Manhattan chicks you're around. I've been watching a lot more tv than I usually do bc I've been tired and weak post op, and I've noticed all the real housewives of OC are super into low carb and barely eat. See? We're just fancy now Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  19. You should get a lap band. They suck for some people, but if you don't have food issues just lost the weight and then have it loosened then you can eat whatever. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. Hope you feel better. What did they say? Just low fat diet? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
