Quick - Help!

Guys I have a huge problem. My team wants to go out to lunch today and of course they want to go to the dreaded Chinese.

I'm still on the puréed stage until tomorrow and can't see anything on the menu to eat. The Soups are full of bits and probably loads of MSG.

Would it be rude if I don't eat? I want to pull out of the lunch but it's my team that I manage. Soooo not ready for this.

Of course it would NOT be rude to not eat!! Your health comes first. Maybe tea or broth?

I tried the vegetable soup which all I was going to have was the broth but OMG did I gag. Had so much MSG I could tell. Needless to say I didn't have anymore.
