  1. It gets easier. It really does. I can eat pretty much anything, although some things don't feel great, but it isn't horrible. I do miss being able to drink large amounts of water, but that's about all I miss. Breathe. You got this. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm ten weeks out and down 32 pounds. (SW 310, CW 278, HW 342) Indeed. It is work...mental, emotional and physical. This week I was frustrated because I wasn't down more. Then I realized a number of things: 1. Slow is better because of the potential for gall stones and hair loss. 2. I weighed in at night, with a full stomach and bladder in jeans (first time ever!) the day before my period started. 3. My weight was STILL LOWER than last week, which before surgery wasn't always (or even often) true. Yes, it's work to change habits about when and what to eat and to stop drinking and to wait and explaining and asking for what you need and having most of the grocery store on the "no" list. It is totally worth it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  22. I was 236 but in that picture I really don't know how much I weight because that was like 5 months before I started going through the process of meeting the surgeon nut during the two week pre op diet lost 17 pounds . After two weeks after surgery I did get really sick with vomiting on and off the whole summer so I think that also had a lot to do with me losing so fast because I wasn't really able to eat like that ( which was the worst part of my experience ) but I was losing a lottt . Like some weeks I was losing 10 pounds in a week . But after I got better I would stall a little and then now I still continue to lose . Like since last week I've lost 8 pounds. Thank you!
