72 Pounds Down

  • Popular Post

I had my surgery June 16th 2016 and I am down 72 pounds . I am extremely happy with my decision even though after surgery I experienced vomiting throughout the summer and ended up having my gall bladder taken out in August . I really feel like having the sleeve was the best decision I ever made . post-266842-14782213457183_thumb.jpg

You look amazing! Has the vomiting stopped?!

Yes the vomiting stopped after they found out that my liver enzymes were elevated after my surgery . So when they took my gall bladder out I felt a lot better after the recovery .

That's awesome. Congratulations!!

Yay!!! May I ask your weight at surgery? (My apologies if that's inappropriate. Trying to gauge how your journey might compare to my own. I was 311 two days before surgery. I'm 13 days post)

I was 236 but in that picture I really don't know how much I weight because that was like 5 months before I started going through the process of meeting the surgeon nut during the two week pre op diet lost 17 pounds . After two weeks after surgery I did get really sick with vomiting on and off the whole summer so I think that also had a lot to do with me losing so fast because I wasn't really able to eat like that ( which was the worst part of my experience ) but I was losing a lottt . Like some weeks I was losing 10 pounds in a week . But after I got better I would stall a little and then now I still continue to lose . Like since last week I've lost 8 pounds.
