Youve done good. I had my surgery last month also. But ive had to have more pain meds, 2 ivs, because i cant get my fluids in. I cant even worry about the Proteins yet, theyre just concerned about my Fluid intake right now. My stomach is still so tight that i can only get like 4-5 sips and im full for about 1hr. I think alot has to do with i cant grt a regular bowel movement as of yet and ive taken everything. Ive had ibs before the surgery so it hasnt helped. Its crazy when all u can pray for is to be able to go to the bathroom....lol But i didnt go out and buy a scale for my house, i dont keep up like that. Last week when i was able to go from a size 3x to 1x, i go by my clothes.

The dr said with me, as long as i got off the steriods, which i would be in pain until my body got use to it, i would lose the weight probably easy. I never had a problem with weight. I was a flight attendant for 18yrs and always maintained 145lbs until they dignosed me with MS. All that medication has heavy steriods in them so i automatically started gaining weight. You can tell when people are taking steriods, it shows in tbe face first. All ive wanted was to see my neck again...lol. but without those meds, im in alot of pain, especially in my knees. Arthritis has set in and need a full replacement on right knee. Dr put that off until aftef this surgery to see if losing the weight would make a difference and it has. But yes, i guess its all worth it
