how long is the Gastric Sleeve surgery ?

How long did your surgery take? My mother asked the PA and she said about 3 hours. I'm guessing that's worst case scenario, cause I keep reading different amounts of time.

45 minutes!

My surgeon said it went so smoothly that it was 23 minutes "time on the table". Pre-op and recovery room added up to about 2 hours.

About 3 hours for me this past Thursday! Also removed band, fixed hiatal hernia and removed gallbladder! It was rough recovering. But after 2 nights and 3 days in hospital, I'm finally home!

I was in preop for 2 hours, surgery was 2 hours but include hernia repair, and I was in post op for 3 hours. Then I was moved to my own room. It just felt like a nap once I was sedated. I wasn't really coherent until about midnight.

@@JellyBellyNoMore congrats on getting it done. What a relief huh! You are freshly Sleeved like me. Now let's kick off some poundage!

Less than an hour for my sleeve & umbilical hernia repair.

My surgeon said he was done in 30 minutes.

I was in for about an hour and a half, maybe a little less.

I remember dreaming through my surgery, that was nice. :)

My surgery time was just over 40 min but in recovery for 3 hour very sick after post-265553-14475766077799_thumb.jpg

My doctor said it'd be a hour and 13 minutes he ended up taking a hour and 15 haha. I went back at 915 and got visitors in my recovery room at 1130.

my surgery was about and hour and 45mins to about 2hours, including prep I believe. It seemed like it went by so quick. I was nervous as heck. They took me to surgery. About 5-10mins later I passed out. Woke up in another area, a few nurses asked me how I was feeling. I remember looking around drowsily and then as they wheeled me to my room I passed back out. Woke up prob an hour or 2 later. It was like it didn't even happen but damn that pain especially the first day was a good reminder it did! Lol!
