Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

Hello there Band fans....I got banded March 28th-2007.

I told myself....Bycyling would be a very good choice. Fresh air, muscles working for the sake of "Cardio". After one week passed--in April. I purchased three new bikes for me and my two sons. I have defeated many things doing that. No more not riding with my children--we ride as a crew (family). We could not conquer the hill on my street. We used to stop 3 to 4 times before getting to the top ( I did). So now the wheels have turned. My kids ask me---"Daddy can we stop--our legs are burning". Thank God I am doing well now. Now with 21 pounds gone---but just riding bikes. I am ready for the next Journey...The 1st fill--I am looking forward to the next 4 to 6 weeks--maybe 12 or 20 pounds gone...who knows...:faint: this is how I feel on many days after my ride. Today--(8.5 miles) It was walking, riding around the fair in my town--but that is what my speedometer said when it was all over...

They are very yummy. I have tried the orange, strawberry, and black cherry. All of them were very yummy. I also like regular Clif bars too. A little harder to eat but delicious all the same.

  • orange is my fav. I've had punch too, not so good.

  • Okay, so you two concur on the orange, strawberry and black cherry. Cherry is my favorite flavor, so I will get more of that. Thanks, chicas! (I gave y'all "reputation" for this info! I still can't be

tonight we are having a quick soup nite..we are meeting a girl from the ride this past weekend to ride. Hoping to get in around 25 miles or so give or take. It is real hot here so we will see.

D...I love chicken.....any kind of chicken, give it to me...YUMMMMMM

And some fruit would be good to.

Well, gt to get back to work....talk later

Oh were on d......if i have to ride in circles until i get to 30 miles...even in the dark i will!!!!

You are on girl

I'm making grilled chicken tonight with some peanut sauce thing...wings and drummies maybe thighs. Breasts are too dry for the most part for me to eat anymore.

Also there will be grilled stuffed mushroom caps and grilled zucchini and summer squash.

Saturday's dinner will be grilled fish, cole slaw and grilled corn.

My SO is in town so I'm actually cooking for more than me and a picky 6 year old. Makes me happy.

Ok HP, whoever goes the furthest wins!!!!!!! I will be going at least 38 I know for sure....but I will go further if I think you will.....LOL.

J, oh, those sound sooooooooooooooooooooo good!!! I will be there at around, say 6pm??? Is that dinner time for you??? Gosh, a lot of times, we go ride and then get home so late we just eat cereal.....how boring...

Isn't that funny Traci, I say 30, then tell you I am going 38....lol...have to win somehow I guess. It is really hot and humid here too, but the mountain pass we are going on it really really cool.....until you get to the top and come down the other side...then the heat wave begins again....

you have time. It's 6pm EST. So what's that for you?

Yeah I'm grillin again. Last year I only ate a few tablespoons of food and it wasn't worth it. Now I grill and freeze. And duh, I eat more.

Don't try to count up the calories here but this is the absolutely best, and I mean best, enchilada recipes EVER!!! Jessiebear posted it in the recipe section.

2 pkgs flour tortillas (I only use one pkg of 10)

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 16 oz. sour cream

1 can of chicken or 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped

2 cans cream of chicken soup

1 can diced green chilies

1 small onion diced

I added a can of olives, sliced

Mix together everything except tortillas. Reserve half of mixture to put on top of tortillas. Using other half of mixture, divide among tortillas and roll up. In 13x9 pan, put tortillas and spread remaining mixture on top, sprinkle with cheese. Bake 30 minutes @ 350 degrees.

These areeeeeeeeeee the besttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!! I could eat these everyday. I would hate to see what the calorie content is though...

Well, I am mountain time, if I leave nowwwwwwwwwwwww, I should get there by........hmmmmmmmmmmmm.....I am not into math....
