Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

I guess I was trying to be like BG. Kind of a tribute to ODB. I asked myself how could it have been the Bike that let me down and how could I drive nearly 3000 miles without a problem only to have this happen so lose to home. HMmmmmmm

Fitlinxx looks cool. It also looks a little dirty with the XX like it's got an X rating or something.

Awesome you are not sore. Renee hit traffic and missed most of our appointment yesterday. I'm trying to figure out what to do the next few days in the gym. I'm tracking stuff, so no doubt I'll figure it out.

HP

Good luck with the fill.

I hate my job. I know that's traditionally BG's role to play on here, but holy crap.

My people don't have 8 hours worth of work to do in a day but still they try to do as little as humanly possible so much to the point where one dude just lost his shit, and I had to talk him down so I wouldn't have to write him up for storming out of work.

What sucks is that he's right. He works harder than the rest and he got pissed. So he started yelling at his supervisor who started yelling back. And shutting her off is close to impossible while I'm like dude, be pissed, but tell me what you are doing and where you are going...so you don't get written up.

Ugh.

Aw J I am in that same position as your employee. What we need to do is win the lotto so we can all quit our jobs and ride bycyles all day long.

On a funny note my mother (who works in the same office suite as I) just came flying out of her office like a bullet after she tripped on something and flew into a wall. It was pretty humorous.

And I will be letting people in the door.

If she were hurt I would not laugh. However, she almost pissed herself laughing so I figured it would be okay.

Hey everyone! My DH and I want to starting riding bikes for exercise. We went looking at bikes and I am considering getting one of the bikes that has an electric assist to help going up hills. Does anyone else have one like this? Good or Bad???

D-

You are shameless. You kill me.

Biggest

I have a straight up road bike, I've not seen the ones with an elelctric assist. My gut says avoid hills and go without that device. Sooner than you think you'll be strong enough to handle the hills.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
