Jello helps some because I chew it so I dont feel to bad or deprived. :) do you have a time yet?

I do too!! have to be there at 8:30 and surgery at 10:30!! I had a much better day today ironically Been trying to hydrate as much as possible. I'll join you on the sleeved side soon after :) Wishing everyone getting sleeved tomorrow and the rest of the week a safe and speedy recovery! We can do this!

How's everyone doing? I'm resting comfortably with the aid of IV pain meds and ice packs. Eating ice chips and sipping Water. I get incredibly dizzy and nauseous when I get out of bed. So I've only made trips to the bathroom, each one getting better. I just take everything slow and remind myself that it's only been 9 hours since I woke up in recovery and take each hour by hour. Tomorrow I go for my barium shallow in the morning to do a leak test and if everything looks good, I'll begin Clear liquids.

Surgery went very well and my hiatal hernia was repaired, too. Here's a pic a few hours after surgery. (Drain will be removed at my two week appointment)post-64640-14189624017554_thumb.jpg

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
