Day 8 - It's time for puree food!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys me again so after eight days of liquids and yogurts I'm now officially in my puree food Times. So excited to start it cause I really miss (kindda) actual food! so what I'm asking for you is to give me a suggestions for everything that is nice and good and smart to eat puréed. I should do it for 3 weeks so I'll need lots of options.

BTW, feeling great, back to work and kindda look like myself again

Thanks you all! Hugs from Tel Aviv post-241021-14168353397655_thumb.jpg

AWSOME! Yes from now on you'll feel more and more like your old self and in about 3 weeks, you'll REALLY start to see the weight come down AND your energy level go up. Good luck, stay positive, remember to take in your Water, Protein AND WALK WALK WALK!!

Wonderful! You really sound good. I am jealous of your puree stage. LOL I have 4 more days of

juice and broth. I'd almost rather not eat by now, but I know I have to. Look on pinterest for

bariatric meals you should find some good things there. I was looking before my surgery and some

of the foods looked really yummy. So keep us posted!

@@jasminnegrin A few of my favorites are crab cakes, turkey meatballs, blended egg salad, ricotta cheese bake, and of course the refried Beans with cheese, sour cream and a touch of hummus!

Awesome! I have my 2 week post-op appointment today, and should be moving to pureed phase as well. I am really looking forward to it!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
