Final surgeon appointment pre-op

Recommended Posts

Hiya!

I have my final appointment pre-surgery tomorrow and I'm trying to make sure I have all my questions written down so I don't forget to ask him. Anyone have anything they can possibly think of that I should ask - just want to make sure I don't leave anything out that I may not be thinking of at this moment :-)

I'm getting stressed just trying to figure out which supplements/vitamins to choose lol! I made me a binder with all of my info. Which is very informative. And I have a fantastic weight loss buddy! Welcome ????

I have a list of questions for my doctor.

Should I wear a medical alert Bracelet? )God forbid if something happens were they would have to place s tube down to help breathe.)

What size will my sleeve be?

Do you staple and stitch?

Will I be provided a binder or should I purchase one to wear after surgery?

Not sure this these help you but that's my list.

Good luck and keep us posted. ????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
