See, Dini, thats why I forgot you. It's Lynette's fault...:( How could I forget my friend from Ireland when I am a good bit Irish myself...tell me, do you really spend as much time in pubs as is rumored...:biggrin1: My Irish side of the family has always liked its liquor. That was one of the first questions I asked my doc...can I drink after this surgery.. Sure thing, he said. btw, I like how you bolded everyones name. I think I am going to steal the idea...

What a long list. Thanks for doing this Laurend. Add my stats - 5'8 and 280. I sure wish more of these folks on the list would join and and post.

BreadLady..how are you doing? Are the drugs good? Can't wait to hear from you.

Lynette, he said most docs undertreat sinus infections and that it usually takes about 3 wks to really get rid of it. Especially with someone like me who get recurrent infections. The bummer is that I cannot have the surgery until I finish the HORSE pills.< /span> I would think your doc would want to treat now so you would be healthy for surgery. I'm sorry you had trouble. I know how bad you feel. I have been there in the past. But that z pak will start working quickly.

Sunshine i'm all for blaming Lynette!!!!!

The Irish do like to drink indeed but because both my parents are Italian i gew up the Italian way of thinking and living. Therefore I do enjoy an odd glass of wine but other than that i do not drink, where has Irish people through and though (not all) drink a lot. Particularly younger people teens and twenties have a major problem with there drink. i was brought up being allowed to have a glass of wine at dinner and parties but Irish kids in general are not allowed to drink till there 18 then its like they can't help thereselves. the legal age to drink in Ireland is 18. its 21 in the States isn't it

Was that too much info????

Okay, here's the spreadsheet so far. I saved it to Word to make it easier to post here. Ignore the #DIV/0!, it's just where I went ahead and made the equation for those cells, so that I can just type in the height and weight and get a BMI result. I plan on making columns for every week, if that's okay with everyone, so that we can see how our weights and BMIs change from week to week.

Everyone, take a look at this list and make sure that you are on it and that your name is spelled correctly.

IndioGirl55

5'4 - 245 - bmi 43

As far as my height - it keeps changing I was 5'3 & 3/4 in high school so i always said i was 5'4 - got measued again 5'3 and then at my sleep study they measure me again 5'2 - wtf.. i know as you get older you shrink but heck i'm not that old and those are big difference - heck i like the sound of 5'4 so i am keeping that one...:heh:

With the way it's calculating, Indiogirl55, it calculated your BMI as 42.05. If I lower your height to 5'3", your BMI comes out at 43.4

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
