Check in: Week of Nov 17th Sleevers!

Just making us a new thread now that we have found each other.

How are we coping with the pre-op diet? How is your "head" - who is nervous?

How is the weight loss this past week?

These are just some possible things you might want to post.

@@JennsinCA and everyone else getting sleeved today: Good Luck-- I don't have to report t=ill this afternoon so I am keeping myself busy this morning! I don't know about access in the hospital but I will check in when I get home!

Hang in there for those still waiting on surgery this week! It is great on the other side - besides the gas pain - mine is almost gone.

FYI - I had diarrhea before surgery and after - so much liquid!

I really have no pain from surgery except the incision when I move a certain way.

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, you're only a day away....

Less than 24 hours till I check in to the hospital... So excited for this next chapter in my life to begin. I had a dream I was already post-op last night so I am beyond ready.

So glad to hear everyone is doing so well who has been sleeved this week.

@@JennsinCA and everyone else this week...sending prayers and well wishes to you all!!! I'm nervous for my day this Friday. Please keep us updated and share any advice regarding your experience. <3

Hey sleevers, i had surgery on Monday. I was only on a pre op diet for one day...clear liquids only. It's now day two post op and i am finally feeling better. Gas is passing more freely, i am satisfied with my liquid drinks, not hungry and it is easy to get my liquid requirements in because i don't feel sick. My doctors were excellent and my sleeve is great!

Well i survived and came out the other side.Just got home from hospital they let me out a day early hooray! Can`t believe how well it went.None of the problems they were expecting from my band scarring(had it removed as an emergency last year) Have had virtually no pain not even gas pain. This 65 year old can`t believe her luck am a bit tired but nothing a night in my own bed won`t fix bless you all.pippinleicester.

Well my surgery is tomorrow Morning Thursday 10:30am. Have to check in at 7:30am. wish me luck!

Had surgery this morning at 9 and I'm feeling really good

Except for the fact that I can have NOTHING by mouth today and I feel like I'm a cotton ball :-)

Pain is very manageable and I haven't been using my pump much.

I've gotten up and down several times!

I feel AWESOME so far.

I had mine this morning too! I agree, pain is manageable and improves by the hour. It has been helping to het up and walk and to change positions in bed. I am fortunate that my Dr lets me take sips of water or protein clear liquids. About 2oz every 15 minutes while I am awake. Can't believe it's done! Best wishes to you and everyone else on here!

All of the doctors are different! I wish I could have something but I'm being good and resisting going to the sink for a drink!

Just got up my second day at home (surgery was 17th) feeling even better today managed a large mug of tea for breakfast. Hospital said don`t worry too much about protein the first week just make sure i get 1-5 to 2litres of fluid a day and that includes tea and coffee so feel a lot more relaxed.Hope to hear about a few more who have come out of the other side.pippinleicester x
