Check in: Week of Nov 17th Sleevers!

Just making us a new thread now that we have found each other.

How are we coping with the pre-op diet? How is your "head" - who is nervous?

How is the weight loss this past week?

These are just some possible things you might want to post.

Liquids and veggies until tomorrow. Surgery is Tuesday

Is my surgery

My surgery is on Nov 18th.. only a few days away. My pre-op diet has gone well for the most part; however, i did have a few cheats (after doing well on only Protein shakes all day) where i at the small pieces of chicken and vegetables that were in my Soup. Only supposed to have broth.. and i did have a steak street taco one night. I've had my protein shakes other than that. I am down about 12-15 pounds. I see other people who are allowed veggies, sugar free popsicles, chicken breasts, etc.. .so hopefully i will be ok. Wishing you fellow November sleevers all the best !

Im schedule for surgery on the 17th also I wasnt put on a liquid diet my doctor just told me to eat high protein low carbs and I should be fine.

Sorry to hear you are having a hard time and starting to get scared

3 more days. Body telling me i need to eat. I can make it.

I am on the 18th also!

My surgery is scheduled for November 19th. It seemed like a long process but is here already. I am on a full liquid pre op diet and not having any problems so far. The Protein shakes are filling though the sweet taste is getting old fast! Not really nervous, more just hoping that this is really the right move as once it's done, there's no undoing it!

Nov 19th for me I have been on the 2 week liquid diet. The 19th can't get here fast enough! Good luck to all you November sleevers!

I'm on day two of my 5 day preop (see my previous post on this thread) and I have a full blown, raging sinus infection. I'm pushing liquids and any remedy I can think of to get rid of this as quick as possible. I hope I can get rid of this before Wednesday.

My surgery is on the 18th. My doc did not put me on any liquid diet. I was just told that I have to have only Clear Liquids the day before. I am getting anxious...

@JennsinCA-- I tried that with broth but it clumped even though I mixed it quite well. Any secrets for not getting it to clump?
