Well months ago I told everyone about my horror WLS Story of 1983 and my trying to find someone with enough experience of this revision. Waiting list was 3-5 years min up here in Toronto as only one doctor does it. David Lopez of Baratric Pal stuck with me through my search. Having a local group of coordinators was a benefit I could not stress the need enough for. Well after a 4 hour surgery in Mexico thru Bariatric Pal deals I am 2days on the losers bench. I went with dr. Ponce de leon and his team. Excellent. Except for times. He does only 3 or 4 surgeries a day. I was his last and they operated until 12:35am the next day. They thought they would have to close me up due to all the internal damage. Stubborn,Blessed Hands The Baratric pal coordinator stayed the entire time. 12 hours. I highly recommend them. They even looked after my son's needs and continue to look after us now that. I am discharged to recovery. I can't say enough good things. 32 year walk to get on the losers bench. But HEY I AM A FAT ASS WALKING. drinking my broth.

I am going with Dr. Ponce Dr Leon in January. At first I was sceptical because I had not heard much about him but I buddied up with @@haleytrim and she has helped calm most of my fears. His cocoordinator thru Bariatric Pal - David Lopez has also been a Superstar!! Patient and thorough and yes, always available to take my calls. My nervousness now is just the nervousness before any surgery. I will update as time goes on.

Due to issues from prior WLS my date has been bumped back to Jan. 12. Yayyyyy to me for finally losing 20 lbs and Double YAYYYYY to @@haleytrim for being such a ROCK of support. Let me go look for those January New lifers! Happy Holidays ALL!!!

I have been using protein supplements since August. Unjury products and service so far is the truth! Their chicken soup makes me feel like I ate! I should be walking more. Nuts. I will be the obe in hospital scrubs. LOL. I don't care if it hurts and I am not feeling well? Get outta my way. Plus I will be so glad I made it thru surgery yet again - 4 c-sections - that I just don't care how I look.

I am going on December 15 with Dr. Ponce de Leon also. Haleytrim!! It's great to hear everything went well!

December 15th in Tijuana for me also. Nervous. Scared but need to get it done while I am Off work. Also need to have health issues resolved. YIKES!! I am really doing this

I went with the bariatric pal contact David Lopez. So far he has been great. I have been able to reach him at any time. My friend said Dr Leon would have been her choice if self paying but I can't find any overwhelming testimonials thus far. I don't think bariatric pal would recommend someone with bad stats but I was hoping to hear from folk like me. My surgery is for the 15th of December but I may ask to have it moved up just because my nerves are a mess, thanks for asking Janice1968. Hey!! Scstxrn my birthday is December 9th. Please let me know how it is there. Let's be loser buddies??

Hi. Newbie here. About to take that last step to a new life. Gastric bypass with Dr. De Leon in December. Anyone have any feedback on this Doctor? Bypass Or otherwise it doesn't matter. Talk to me? Going alone. Nervous.
