I was sleeved on the 19th, so I'm heading into week 4 post op, and I hit that week 3 stall just about on schedule. I'm watching calories, nutrients, Water, I use Sparkpeople, so I know I'm averaging about 550 calories, also getting walking in as often as I can. So I'm sure this has been answered many times before, in your experience, how long does the stall last?

I have had stalls right on along, one week, then drop 4 pounds. Eight days then drop 5. Everyone is different but I stall out quite a bit. I just may be that type of loser where I just lose in chunks not days.

I dunno...don't remember. And THAT is the important point. I went from super morbidly obese to a normal weight and the details no longer matter. Not trying to downplay your concerns but rather offering you the long range view... we all move at a different pace..our own journey. The details are important at the time but the long view is..jus keep working that sleeve and you will get there!

I think my week 3 stall lasted 7-10 days. I don't remember. After the stall broke, i started my current trend of losing ~.5 lb/day or 3-4 lbs/wk. It was frustrating, but it passed!

My (on-time) three-week stall just broke this morning (I dropped 1.4 pounds).

After consulting my daily weight chart (yeah, I'm obsessive like that), I see that it lasted 6 days.

No biggie. I was ready for it. And knowing it was a common phenomenon, I was so unbothered by it.

BTW, I'm very sure Cowgirljane's comment above is the important one to heed.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
