This site is awesome and love reading it.

Hope everyone is going well with their operations. Hope to hear from you soon.

Mine is tomorrow morning, so many emotions..

Good luck everyone!!!

I am sleeved!!! Surgery was pushed to 1:30 PM so I am 13 hrs post op n doing great???? I was in my room by 5 and up walking by 8. Got a little nauseous when I walked so the gave me some meds n was fine right away. I did take some pain meds ( prob why I did so great.... Lol) which interfered with my saturation levels a bit but all is great now .

I go in at 9:30 AM for the Dye test so wish me luck????

Hope everyone else is doing super great too!!!

Congrats!!

Fingers crossed for you, I am 11 hours away from my sleeve..

It's all starting to happen..

Good luck! Remember to ask for pain medicine before it gets very bad. It's hard to get it under control. Ask for anti nausea medication if the pain medicine gets you sick.

My surgery was on Monday at 4pm. So far that has been the hardest part. I really feel ok. Lots of bloating and gas. I read somewhere to bring gas x with you and that has helped. I am getting sick of the clear liquids but I only have a few more days until full liquids. This is much easier than I thought it was going to be. I do sleep during the day and it's been hard to get as much fluid in as they want you to, but I just do my best.

I also started walking around my block the day I got home from the hospital. I think that has helped too!

Very exciting! Good luck to all.
