Hello!!!! Today is my one week surgaversary!!!! I am feeling weak however today I am doing very well. I am drinking a lot of fluids and I am feeling much more hydrated today. My shakes are going down well and I am excited to have this be my last week of fluids. I am down 9 lbs for my first week, and that brings my total weight loss to 51 lbs! that is so exciting!!!!

Wow Rachel, that's freaking awesome!! So envious I am struggling with my fluid amounts and yes I am the same also feeling weak and very flat.

Congrats on the 9lbs since surgery and 51lbs in total you are rocking it.

Sleeved Sept 15,2014 lost about 10lbs so far, no pre-opt diet needed , I had kind of an emergency situation and no time for it, I had existing lap band surgery in 07 that was causing many problems and had to be removed asap so they removed it and did a revision to the sleeve. I'm starting to get hungry for real food so I ate some cheese BIG MISTAKE! Extreme Dumping syndrome! I'm afraid to leave my house! I have not had any pain medicine since I have been home bc it makes me sick. I'm still in a great deal of pain but am healing.I go back to work on Monday and I'm worried.

Just under two weeks after surgery. No real issues at the moment (injecting myself with Clexane each morning sucks but tomorrow is the last day of that).

Be moving to puree in the next few days (yay!) the liquid phase has been OK, just a bit boring. I'm pretty sure I haven't been getting enough protien as I can't stomach (heh!) protein shakes or powders but I'll be getting plenty of meat and legumes soon so I'm not too worried.

So far I've dropped 20kg (about 44lbs) since my first appointment with the surgeon.

I had my sleeve 9-18-2014. Start weight 362 lbs, today 341 lbs. I am so weak and miserable.

Hi all, I'm 3 days post op for my sleeve. Still on liquid diet and having a tremendous amount of pain. I had a hiatal hernia repaired also which contributes to my pain.

I'm from MI and an in my 40's with the kids.

Hi Jen, I had the same operation, i know how you feel I had the same operation. Best thing I can suggest is keep up the pain medication. I am 11 days out now and feel a million times better. Tried a hero day the other day where I had no pain relief made my pain so much worse. Walking is good gets the blood flowing and heat packs. Thinking of you.

Today, no pain, still weak, now irregular heart rate. I am trying to decide if I should call the on call physician.

If you are concerned then that's a yes! Call ASAP

Feeling better today. I had a tablespoon of pureed tuna and FF mayonnaise last evening and for breakfast. I am starting to not feel as faint and weak as I had been. Every step still is tiring.
