eat in one sitting

Recommended Posts

This question is for the people that have been banded for several months with no fill. How much can you eat in one sitting? I really want to avoid getting a fill for some reason, but I feel like I'm eating more than I should. I'm still losing weight, but scared I'm eating too much. I don't eat slow enough to listen to my band, so I'm looking for more portion size answer.

Rollo, I've been banded more than 18 months and have not had any fills. Sometimes the feeling of satiety does not always kick in right away so I eat Weight Watcher type portions. Typically, 3 oz. Protein, 1/2 cup of veggies and 1/4 cup of carbs. You can see from my ticker that it's worked very well for me.

Hi Rollo..my surgery was June 26th.. Still haven't had a fill nor do I need one. Losing between 1 to 3 pounds a week! I eat about a cup per meal. I mostly have Protein Shakes for Breakfast.< /p>

There are a few of us Nana. It's uncommon but not unheard of. Thanks for the kind thoughts.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
