Peek,I know you don't like mayo but do you have an aversion to ranch dressing? Someone recommended adding that To canned chicken or tuna-just a thought.

How about this. Lets create a FB group, make it private and a few of us "techies" can test it out before the end of the month to make sure nothing is seen by anyone ! and I'm like Kathie, I love Bariatric Pal. I have two tabs open on my browser, FB and BP. Great to have so many people to talk to about this !

LOL Peek, yup, it is !!! Welcome to the group Peek's Ticker :P

Lazy Lizzy Congrats on starting the pre op liquid.. I know, don't roll your eyes and think .. "shut up lady, I want some solid foods"... because let me tell ya, we want them too ! LOL Hang in there !!! You can vent to us anytime !

I am also 2 weeks just started "foods". Refried Beans, low fat cheese, scrambled eggs, plain yogurt, refried beans, modified tuna/chicken salad. It's interesting what different facilities suggest. I am like several of you, surprised how full you get and how quickly. Them trying to get 3liters of Water on top of that! It's a challenge, but all well worth it!

Kathy812 that's exactly how I feel. Am I going to overeat, mess this up, hurt the sleeve not know when to stop.

Just taking my time, paying attention to my body, not being distracted while I eat. One of the hardest things I have found, is not fringe able to drink whe I eat! I suppose I'll get over that!

Good luck!

So is it safe to say we are all worried that something is going to happen and we will not be successful?

I've been overweight my whole life. I've been looking at boards and people's stats, and I just feel there's no way that I'll ever get thin. I have that 'It won't happen to me, something is going to happen" feeling. Weird !

Hate this feeling tonight !

Congrats!!!! How did your new sleeve handle the Jello and broth?

It's going okay, but the gas pressure is right at my diaphragm so it is a little painful to swallow. I'm thinking it should be much better tomorrow!! The broth is actually pretty soothing.

Everyone, I am definitely happy to be on the mushy diet but my doctor doesn't even want me eating potatoes or cream of wheat or any grains. He said to only eat the high Protein for my three little meals. I would love a little baked sweet potato, lol. I will have some at the holidays!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
