HW 336

SW 312

CW 270

My surgery was July 23, I'm a little over 8 weeks out. I feel amazing but I keep having stalls, for 2 weeks at a time. It's frustrating. I'm down from a size 34 to a 24 and from a 5 x to a very loose 3x shirt.

@@mamie60 and @@pik - hey!!!! I am doing well! My eating is faaaar from where it should be, so I need to get better with that. I've also lost focus on keeping up with my Vitamins and other supplements. I think I got to a point where I spend so much time thinking about what to eat, when to eat, how much to eat, what pill to take a what time, blah blah blah. I'm due to see my doctor and nutritionist later today for my follow up, and I fully expect to get scolded for my behavior. Mentally, it's been a bit tough because there are so many stressful things that have happened in the last 60 days - it's truly shown me how much of my eating is mental. Luckily, I still can only eat about 1/2-3/4 cup at any one sitting, and I try to keep myself moving so I don't have enough time to think about all the crap going on. I hit my 60 pounds down mark today and am glad about that. I'm sure it could have been more had my eating and intake been better, but I'm happy with where I am. I've also noticed that the faster I lose, the more I look like a melted candle - not cute! LOL Physically - I feel fabulous! Lots of energy and have been doing more walking than I used to - another happy point. So for now, I'm good. Hopeful to when things can settle down and some of the stress ease up :-)

You know I am lucky to get in my Multivitamins every day and I am surely not getting the calories, Protein, and liquid that I need. I am having another endoscopy next week some time. Hopefully we can work this all out!!

Pik, I am really worried about you. I was just in the hospital for 4 days because I couldn't eat or drink. And, just before that visit, I was in the hospital. My dr. Takes it very seriously if you can't eat or drink. They gave me I.V. Fluids and Vitamins around the clock. Don't let yourself get dehydrated, you could end up in intensive care. Don't hesitate to go to the ER, they can give you fluids if you are dehydrated. Just worried about you. Keep me posted on how you are doing.

Well, I am happy for you that you aren't dehydrated enough to be hospitalized. Hope you get better soon.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
