Hey everyone. I'm 2 months post op and down approx 38lbs. I know I shouldn't compare but I'm wondering what everyone's average is? I still don't eat much and struggling to reach my Protein min of 60g/day. Thanks!

10 weeks post-op, I'm down 46 lbs since surgery, and a total of 71 lbs from the start of my journey (as measured from my first visit to the bariatric office. I haven't been having too much trouble hitting my Protein goals...when I exercise, I need more calories (I generally have three meals and two small Snacks daily. One of the Snacks or meals is a Protein shake), hitting between 800 and 950 calories daily. Heavy on tuna fish, eggs and chicken.

I was averaging 4-600 calories intake until I started really pushing exercise. I cycle daily, and it's pretty easy to up the calories with the added activity (I stopped losing completely when I was exercising and taking in less than 600 calories, so it was a conscious decision to calorie-boost)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
