Hey Sherry....I know it's been a couple of months but what are the Kaiser Fontana times coming up? My schedule during Nov. & Dec. has really gone wacky and I'm still trying to see when I can start attending a group again. Is the Ontario group mostly newbies? Hope your holiday was great.

Hi Annette~

Happy New Year! Good to hear from you! Been missing you at Group...

Fontana Evening Post-Op Groups for Jan are Tu 1/6, 6pm; Wed 1/21, 6pm; and Th 1/29, 6pm. Kai hasn't put out an official 2015 schedule yet and not sure if any of these will be a Nutrition group. Hope you can make one of these at least. Yes, Ontario is mostly pre-ops and a few new-ops. Still struggling to get more post-ops. Jan 10 BariatricPal ONT/Chino Group announcement post follows here.

Oh no! I really looked forward to this group! Why won't we meet any more!? So sad.

Hi Susan,

Personal circumstances. I'm sad too. Who knows--maybe someone will have interest in creating a new Local Chapter in our area.

How was the 5K? You didn't get rained out, did you?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
