Alright everyone! I am cruising right on into Stage 2 which is the full liquid diet. I actually had some cream of chicken Soup today with skim milk and it was heaven!

I have a family to cook for and while they are supportive and willing to change things up around here, I also don't want my 11 year old and my 4 year old to not enjoy dinner. I am thinking about some Soups to make this week! If anyone has any recipes for this phase I would really appreciate you forwarding them my way. I have to get back in the kitchen! :D

Lastly, How do I get that ticker thing to show up on my posts and stuff? I like it. THANKS!

Anything you throw ini the blender with your Soup will work. I added extra veggies to thicken my Soups. Experiment with salsa, etc to give a kick.

Why not just feed them something solid and nutritious? You're going to have to do this sooner or later? You can still have your Soup and they can eat chicken and veggies?

I agree. start practicing what you will be cooking for the rest of your healthy life. this gives you a chance to ease the family into your new lifestyle.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
