that's great and thanks, keep us updated on your progress!!!!

Soooooo, today is our first day on the preop diet. 3-4 protein drinks and one meal (3oz cooked meat, one veggie from a list). Sugar free Jello "in moderation". That's like 10, right? Lol

I'm wondering what can make the drinks thicker to make our stomachs not grumble for food 30 minutes later....

Otherwise I think the hardest part for me will be COOKING that meal. :/

Tomorrow is the big day! Good luck to all my hlsurgery buddies, the 7th is finally here!!!! Time flies!!! Can wait hear how it all went and wish u all a speedy recovery!! Will keep ya posted on my status!!!

Good Luck jaysweet98, you are going to do great.

I just got my insurance approval letter this weekend. With all the running around and doctor appointments and research into every aspect of what I'm getting myself into (and many hours perusing on BP :P ) I had completely forgotten I didn't have an actual authorization from my insurance. LMAO Well, now I'm officially Empire Plan approved. Bring on the 17th!

Congratulations on your approval. So you have 10 days to get your rings off :)

@@jaysweet98 right on today is the day for you! You might already be in recovery :) Take good care and check in when you can.

This is the first time , in years, with no heartburn at all!! I am still taking heartburn meds for healing but I am so very happy that I don't have to take extra doses of tums, rolaids, or alka seltzer, to be comfortable. Good luck everyone.
