  1. Hurray for going home. I met with the nutritionist today because I had only two weeks to prepare for this revision. I told her I was sure I was full but still felt hungry. She said to give myself some learning room because it is a mind war.
  2. Oh no, jaysweet98. I am so very sorry this happened. Soon, it will be a distant memory.
  3. This is the first time , in years, with no heartburn at all!! I am still taking heartburn meds for healing but I am so very happy that I don't have to take extra doses of tums, rolaids, or alka seltzer, to be comfortable. Good luck everyone.
  4. Yeah, I went from having the lap band in 2003, to it removal in 2011. Sleeved in 2012. Now with the bypass in 2014. Was not the plan but it is better than aspiration
  5. Yes, it is. I had been sleeved Novemeber 2012 and had a congenital issue called a cascade stomach that caused my stomach to flip weirdly and increased my reflux. The concern was that I would aspirate. I am a rarity, though. So, since meds were not helping, they had to do a revision.
  6. They did my bypass this past wednesday and found a hernia that they went ahead and repaired during this surgery.
  7. Good Luck jaysweet98, you are going to do great.

  9. Oh, that may be why I am hurting badly in my stomach area after my broth this morning. I did not burp. Thank you for your reply.
  10. I had my surgery on July 2nd. The gas pain is still there but improving. However, I seem to burp after most sips. Is this normal?
  11. Hello Everyone- I had my revision from sleeve to bypass on the 2nd of July. Good luck to all.

  13. I am so sorry to hear that the insurance is being a butt! I had to have revision two days ago due to horrible reflux and strictures, plus my stomach became a "cascade stomach" again. I wish you the best of luck for your appeal.
  14. I was sleeved November 2012. I have had great success. Love my sleeve. Unfortunately, about 5 months ago, my reflux kicked up horribly. 2 upper GIs and EGDs later, I have a cascade stomach and it needs to be repaired. My surgery team has decided to do a bypass. I'm getting a bit nervous. Any words of wisdom or any one been in this situation?
  15. I was stuck for 6 weeks. Thought it was due to the Prozac my doc put me on for my PMDD, which started when the weight started coming off. (as a pcoser, I am unfamiliar with these hormones!). So two weeks ago, stopped the med and no change. Boo! Upped my workouts this week and dropped almost two pounds so I hope I am back to losing some more! Good luck everyone!

  20. Granted, I had food poisoning yesterday but I finally got under 200! It has taken me 5 months, slower than others but I am still here!
