So last night I think I woke up from a brain stall.

Brain Stall: A period of time where your brain stops registering your weightloss

The last few weeks I have felt like a fatty fatty two by four. I know part of the reason was I had only been losing 2lbs a week and then one pound. I was starting to feel those old helpless feelings again, the ones that plauged me in every diet I have ever attempted. I almost started to believe this was it. As of last friday, May 2nd, I had lost 56 lbs and I was 208, a weight I havent seen in 4 years. I couldn't see it. I could barely see any of my success thus far. It was disheartening,

Then last night I saw a reflextion of my self that I hadn't seen since Highschool/after my 1st year of college. Even better, I look skinnier now than I did then because all of my weightloss is in my face and waist up. It was a big lightbulb moment for me. This is working. My body dreams are coming true.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
