I was sleeved June 18, 2012, my pre op weight was 334.9 and my current weight is 199, that's 135.9 lbs lost! My daughter watched me lose and got so depressed that I was truly worried about her, her insurance would not pay for the surgery, she fought them for a year and finally last November she was sleeved, her insurance does not pay for any weight loss surgery so after a year long fight a with help from our great family Dr, her insurance is using her case as a guinea pig to see if it will be worth paying for this surgery for others! She is doing great, she's down 70 lbs! Here are our before and after photos (she's not done)

Thanks Cherbear33, it has been an amazing journey and I'm so glad that I finally got to watch my daughter go through all of the emotions that come with the weight just falling off! We are both way happier and healthier than we have been in a long time!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
